Pulaski’s James-Allen and Hamilton’s Collins Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Feb. 2)

Darrian James-Allen (Pulaski High School) and Jessiah Collins (Hamilton High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan 25-31.

James-Allen delivered an electric performance for the Rams last week, posting 28 points and shooting 73.3 percent from the field. The senior went 5-for-8 from the free throw line, finishing with 7 rebounds and 4 steals in a dominant win against Obama SCTE. With last week’s victory, Pulaski improved to 6-3 in the White Division. 

Collins was equally impressive in Hamilton’s victory over Bradley Tech. The senior dropped 30 points on 75 percent shooting while adding 11 steals, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 1 block to her stat sheet. The Wildcats are 8-8 on the season, holding strong in the middle of the Gold Division pack.
